Hi. I really like the new parental control features... Won't have to use third party software anymore. My question is how does an administrator clear the activity report logs? I could not find that feature anywhere. Thanks.

Question about Parental Controls...
Hi,
Type EVENTVWR.MSC into the start/search box, look under Application and Service Logs/Microsoft/Windows/Parental Controls, click on the log, then click Action/Clear log.

Morning,
This will only clear some of the logs, not all of them. Some of the logs are from the basic windows security logging, so you would need to clear the Security log as wll to clear all the logs.

Outstanding! Thank you.
I thought so, but just wanted to be sure before doing something that I ought not. Speaking of which, are there any caveats or disadvantages of clearing these logs? Other than recovering space, are there any "hidden" benefits?

Which "Security" log is that? I actually would like to clear the ever growing log of "Applications Run". Any suggestions?

The logs not only store the Parental Controls data, but also contains events stored by other programs and the Operating System itself. Clearing the logs doesn't cause any harm.
